Character Name: Dorothy Mae Clarke
Character Type: Human ESH

Abilities: Dorothy has been granted rapid healing thanks to BioDyne research. The extent meaning she can regenerate organ damage, massive blood loss, and give her a week and she'll regrow a limb.

The downside being threefold:

1) She needs to eat a lot of red, bloody meat, to keep her severely messed up metabolism working.
2) Constantly has to trim her nails and gets weekly haircuts
3) The dreaded regrowing hymen.

Age: 24
Kinsey Rating: 3

Physical Appearance: 5'6" tall, Dorothy is a thin and pale young woman, with dark hair and green eyes.

PB: Katie McGrath

Personality: Dorothy, or 'Dor' as she calls herself, is a hard working young woman entirely wasted in her position. She has a genuine need to help others, wanting to better the world and make it a happier place for everyone, human and supe alike.

She has a very unique outlook on life. She believes death is serene and beautiful... but also that people should live life to the fullest, and it is a precious thing. Think... goth who wants everyone to live long lives and then go graceful into that good night.

She tries to befriend everyone, but also avoids heated conflict. She doesn't like arguing, so she won't try to befriend 'lost causes', those who are overly beligerent or angry towards her.

Because of her dislike of conflict, she is not really an activist: hence her working as a secretary and not marching to save the whales or stop war. She, therefore, is quite easily manipulated by those who are stronger willed than her, as she doesn't like to argue with them. But she's a hard worker, none-the-less. And she will stand up for herself if cornered into something she doesn't like.

Also, up until recently, she was a vegetarian.

History/Background:
Dorothy Clarke was born and raised in San Francisco. An A/A- student all through school from Elementary through San Francisco State University, where she majored in business. Dorothy was the type of kid that managed to exceed expectations, but usually be overlooked by more attention-seeking peers. She was not voted most-likely to do anything in her high school yearbook, as any of her fellow students would have only known her as 'that goth chick'.

Dorothy's parents died shortly after she entered college, in a horrific car accident with a big rig hauling a pre-fab home. While this hurt Dor a great deal, she was able to come to terms with it quickly, adjusting even to the point of being able to keep her childhood home and live in it. After graduating at the age of 22, Dorothy applied to BioDyne. While she had a business degree, she happily took a secretary position as her first out of college job (especially as the money left from her parents had started to dwindle greatly and she had a mortgage to finish paying off).

After a few months in the general secretarial pool, she was promoted to a VP's secretary, and she signed a new contract with greater confidentiality requirements and, unnoticed by her scrutiny, a little clause that would change the course of her future.

A mere three months ago, Dorothy fell down a flight of stairs at the BioDyne offices. She had struck her head, broken both legs, and was in desperate need of medical attention.

That's when, knowing that regular medicine would probably leave her either dead or paraplegic, her boss used that little clause in her contract to send Dor into the ESH program. With little knowledge of whether it would take, or whether she'd simply die from the process, Dor was injected with the ability to regenerate, much like a shifter. Of course, this had horrible side effects (rapid hair and nail growth, the need to consume raw meat, and the aforementioned eternal virginity), but she was grateful to the company for saving her life.

She now works extra hard for the company, having been moved to Antonin Selzanky's secretary. Dor doesn't even raise a fuss when BioDyne 'asks' her to donate an organ or two for research. After all, even if there's pain, she can just regrow another spleen or kidney or what-have-you. And she'd be dead, if it weren't for BioDyne. She knows where her bread is buttered.

RP Sample:
Dor sighed, taking off her glasses and setting them on her desk as she rubbed her eyes. She'd been working all day and night on getting these files typed up, and the glare from her computer monitor was not doing her any favors. She couldn't step away, either. The project was due the next day and she'd hate to make her boss cross with her.

"You still here, darling?" said the security guard, stopping by the open doorway.

"Yes, sorry," Dor said, giving him an apologetic smile.

"No wonder you look like you never get any sun," he joked. "Cooped up in an office all day. You should keep a look out, people will start thinking you're a vampire."

Dor just laughed, and shook her head. The blood did rush to her face a little, embarrassed at the attention. "I'm just a secretary, that's all. Nothing special about me."

She couldn't really say 'Oh, but if I caught my hand in the shredder, I could eat a rare slab of New York Prime and be perfectly fine'. Not that she didn't want to. But company policy said she didn't really discuss her condition with anyone. It made dating hard, that was certain. But then again, Dor never really made time to date when she had so much work to do.

"Well, let me know when you leave, so we can do the proper lock up," the guard said.

She watched him turn to leave, not wanting to admit she'd be here at least another hour. But she didn't want to just not disappoint her boss, she wanted to impress him. And there was no way she'd be able to have these files typed and double-checked without putting in that much time.

Dorothy Clarke did not give anything but 110 percent.
