You know, this whole time I've been thinking I had to get back to defeat the Spiral King, the one who killed aniki. Only now I just remembered that I've already fought him. The beastmen, Teppelin, everything that me and aniki were working for...it's already done.
There's a lot that I have to do back home, something that's probably going to be a lot harder than taking on the Spiral King. After all, the surface is ours now, but that doesn't mean it's ready for people to live on. I wonder if someday we can build a place for people to live that's like here, or maybe something even bigger? I'm not good at this kind of thing, but it's about time I learned.
After all, even if I had the support of the Dai Gurren Brigade behind me, if I can defeat the Spiral King with just my own hands and my drill, there's nothing I can't do.
But I guess that's why it's time for me to go. It's...it's totally not good enough...I know Adell and I promised we'd help everyone get home, and he's gone now, and I'm leaving, too. But I swear on my drill, I'll be back. Simon the Digger won't let his friends stay in a place surrounded by walls, even an invisible one. I'll drill through it with these hands, and that's a promise!
