I dunno; at least sometimes Kurt sings like, super gay pop music. Rachel, though. It's like she thinks she gets paid to virtually blow Streisand with every breath.

I guess. She's totally obsessed with that Streisand chick.

So, I was thinking, I want to do something that's cool and totally badass. You know, songs that aren't like, from fifty years ago.

Sure, there's standards, but there's good stuff coming out all the time.

I don't want to see a bunch of white people rapping. So cool and badass can not include that.

Other than that, I totally agree.

And I think you and I should do a smokin' hot duet. Really show these people that glee can be cool.

No gushy love songs either. There's other ways of telling a person they're totally hot besides being a total sap about it.

Hell, yeah, I'm all for that. We've got to show these people that glee's not just for suckers.

[She thinks for a bit, suggests a couple songs that they both agree wouldn't work, then...]

Fine, I'll be right there. This song better be as kick ass as you're saying it is, 'cause I've heard Maroon 5's stuff, and it's not badass at all.

[Give him ten minutes and he's knocking on her door.]

[Anyway. Come on in, Puck! She already has her iPod on a docking station and blah blah let's get right to it. Cue ~the song~ that we are totally going to keep secret for now as if anyone will care!]

[He rolls his eyes at her when he sees her expression. Besides, it's not like he wouldn't have it off again in two seconds if there was a good enough reason to.]

Well, whatever, I just want to hear this song that we're going to kick ass with.

[He shrugs and walks into the room. He listens to the song, and maybe even jams out to it a little. Sure, this version is kinda lame, but it's got a good beat, and it definitely falls into the cool and badass category.]

We can totally take on this song, and do better at it than them.

Right? Your voice is totally hotter than his anyway. [Do not be second guessing her compliments, man. You know it's rare.]

I would have to sing a little more than she does, though. Obviously.

Hey, thanks, babe. You've got a killer voice compared to hers. [No way he'd second guess that. He knows she doesn't ever compliment anyone.]

I know, right? She hardly sang at all.
