Hey. It's Puck.

[He sounds quiet, and not at all his usual loud and out there self.]

What's going on with everyone? Some really messed up shit went down.

[He pauses.]

Well...I'm alive again, so I suppose that counts for something.

Damn.

Are you really surprised? It sounds like anyone who wasn't a wolf was at least attacked, if not murdered in cold blood.

[If he and Puck had crossed paths during the event, Kurt would have almost immediately accused him of being a wolf, but now, post-event, he feels guilty for mentally making that assumption.]

...I'm sorry to hear you died too.

I just thought that... Nothing.

[He thought that if anyone in the mansion was going to be murdered, Kurt would be the last one on the list.]

It was two kids with swords, going on about justice and punishment and I don't even know what else.

[It sucks to admit that he was killed by kids.]

[Kurt would be flattered - he would put himself at the top of a list like that, just because he's not particular strong or intimidating and then there's the possibility of hate crimes and what not. But he doesn't press the issue.]

I think I might know them. We don't really have a lot of kids running around, so...it was probably someone from their world at least.

[And suddenly he's glad he didn't hang out with any of the thirteen-year-olds during the event. He hesitates when it's time to share his own experience, but eventually gives in.]

I was attacked by people I know fairly well. I survived the first attempt, but wasn't as lucky the second time around.

[It's just that, out of everyone in glee cluh, and maybe even out of everyone in the mansion, Kurt is somewhat less of a target than say, Puck and Beiste. Unless of course, the wolves were going after the weaker ones, but still... Puck's sticking to his argument.]

Yeah. I know them too. They were probably brainwashed or whatever, but that doesn't mean it's not gonna be awkward as hell talking to them.

[Puck's tone changes and sounds a little tense.]

You got attacked twice? Man, what is wrong with this place?

[He sighs.]

That's true. "You killed me" is a bit of a difficult conversational hurdle to leap over.

[Even if he knows that it isn't really their fault. Which he does. Really. He's just still a little shaken about the whole being brutally murdered thing.]

A lot of things, apparently. I'm pretty sure it gets some sick enjoyment out of turning us all against each other and forcing people to go on killing sprees. That's the only reason I can think of for it to try and torture us every other week.

Got that right.

[Funny, but Puck's basically on the same wavelength as Kurt right now. That's not something that gets forgotten about in a day, or even two.]

It sucks. Like, really, really sucks.

[Yes, Puck is great at talking about his feelings.]

Yeah. You know, sometimes I think glee club is for suckers, and sometimes Quinn gets on my nerves, but hell... I'm just glad they don't have to deal with this crap.

[No, it definitely doesn't. It's strange to actually be getting along with Puck, as opposed to just putting up with him, or trying to avoid him.]

Mm. It does.

[Not exactly his choice of words, but it works.]

I miss everyone at home, but...not enough to wish them here. I don't think I'd even wish that on my enemies.

[Even Karofsky was suitably miserable here.]

...My Dad used to be here. After this horrific, traumatic event, I'm actually glad he isn't anymore. That would have been too hard on him.

[Even without knowing about his dad's future heart troubles, Kurt knows this. He's thinking more on the level of being killed by people he cares about. Kurt can't even imagine what he would have done if his father had been killed. Or if he had turned out to be a wolf. Or if Kurt had turned out to be a wolf, and done something he would never forgive himself for.]

[It's not that strange for Puck; it's been awhile since he's felt like throwing Kurt (or anyone) into a dumpster. As far as he's concerned, Kurt's someone who needs someone to look after him, and there'll be hell to pay if anyone decides to mess him up.

...Just not right now, though, because the mansion screwed everyone up.]

Yeah. God, if Quinn or Finn were here and they got messed up like everyone else... Or anyone from glee club, I guess. I don't even want to think about that.

I'm just kinda glad I wasn't a wolf, you know?

[That would be just as bad as seeing Tina or anyone from home stalking and killing people. He's not even thinking about how badass wolves are, because the idea of him killing anyone is just... No.]

[It's a good thing this is audio - otherwise he'd be looking extremely guilty for assuming Puck would be a wolf. Aren't audio posts wonderful?]

I'm glad too. ...I mean, I wouldn't have wanted to be one either.

[Awkward delivery aside, it's true. It was bad enough that time he killed Finn when he had become a vampire...the thought of killing someone intentionally just makes his stomach turn now. Of course, now doesn't seem like a good time to mention that he killed Puck's best friend at one point, so he just won't.]

It would be terrible if that happened to any of them. Besides, one wolf from Glee club was more than enough for this event, in my opinion.

[Assuming of course, that Puck knew about Santana. If he didn't, then, well. ...Oops?]
