[It's still pretty early in the morning, so Puck's still passed out on his bed. It's been an interesting week, what with what's happened to Santana and the resulting makeout session he had with her

[Unfortunately for Puck, he's not very good at hiding the fact that he's lost his sight.
He figures he should just say what's going on, since she'd probably worm it out of him anyway.]
That's cause I kinda... I can't see, Coach.
[He's almost glad he can't see, because that means he can't see people's shocked expressions and then their sympathetic glances. He doesn't want anyone feeling sorry for him. This thing will be over soon enough anyway.
[If he could actually see what she was doing, and the fact that she lost her balance, he'd probably ask her what's up. But he can't, so he just looks a little confused.]
No idea who Terezi is, but I can't see, as in not at all.
[He doesn't want to say the word 'blind'. As if that makes a difference.]
[That last sentence of hers almost sends Puck over the edge.
There's no way he could not be scared. He doesn't spend much time thinking about what it would be like if he suddenly lost one of his senses, but even so, being blind is unlike anything he could have ever thought of.
When he first woke up, it felt like he was hyperventilating. It got easier, but he still can't see unless he's touching something and everything is dark. He's not claustrophobic, but still, it's stifling.]
How the hell am I supposed to not be scared, Coach?
[He practically yells this at her. Later on, he'll feel bad for blowing up. Right now, he just feels angry. And yes, there are pinpricks of fear that this won't go away when the event ends.]
[She feels awkward literally smelling his fear. That ain't right on a number of levels. But she just can't ignore it, not when it's being blown in her face like this.]
Calm down, calm down. You know how these events are. It'll be over before you know it. Just...do you need help with anything? Should I send a, uh, a guy over for you?
[He ignores the urge he has to just go back to bed and ignore the comm for the rest of the day. He clenches his fist, angry that he can't keep the tremors out of his voice. He's totally being a wuss right now, and that really gets to him.]
Yeah, but Coach...
[He can't say it, because the event has to end sometime, but he's still thinking it: that he'll end up being blind forever. As irrational as that is, it still really freaks him out.]
Never mind. Hummel's been over but this just really sucks.
[He kinda appreciates the offer, but he doesn't want to see anyone.]
So, uh, what happened to you?
[That's a normal question, right? He'll follow it up with asking about the rest of the glee club, if she's heard from any of them.]
[Beiste's been working on staying perfectly still. She can't put words to what's happened to her, exactly. It's like her brain is following her movements rather than the other way around.
Really, all she can say is:] I guess I got really clumsy? Hell if I know. It's the fact that I can smell moods like Terezi smells...everythin' that is a little disturbing.
But the video's on. Good enough.]
Something wrong, Puckerman?

Coach?
...Yeah, I'm okay.
[He's totally lying, but he hopes she can't tell.]

You sure, Puckerman? You seem kinda off.

Or that's what he's telling himself.]

You sure about that? Like, how bad are we talkin'? Glasses or...Terezi?

Terezi's blind too. Fudge.
[Pause.
Uh.]
This might sound weird since you don't know Terezi. But you smell...scared, Puck. Don't be.

Weird. But you can see and stuff, right?

[What a pain it is. She's grateful for her eyesight, at least.]
