I had a surprisingly nice weekend. My Aunt Kath and cousins whisked me away to the coast and we spent the night at the beach, and swam in the ocean all day Saturday. I grew up on the beaches of California, but had never swan in the ocean! I've always been too afraid of sharks. I couldn't believe how much fun it was. Saturday night we went to a hotel and ate awesome food and just relaxed. I am so sunburnt after the beach though -- I didn't realize my sun block wasn't water proof. Argh. I am really dying.
Sunday I came home to a wreck of an apartment -- Perry had moved a bunch of stuff out, and took the Xbox 360 and the internet cables, his computer, and a bunch of his books. I now have no way to get online, watch dvds, or play video games (oh, woe is me, right?). On pay day I'm going to buy a $20 DVD player at Best Buy. The worst thing though is that we watched Netflix through the Xbox and I've been obsessively watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Now I can't! Actually, now all I can do is watch one of the four channels that come in. And that is boring. Apparently I can hook up my computer to the tv somehow and watch netflix there. I hooked up Aunt Kath's old computer she gave us a while ago, and I have to go buy a new ethernet cable. Gah.
