When Scotland* lose at football it's a bad day for Scottish sport.
When Andy Murray got through to the quarter finals it was "the British No. 1" getting to them.
When Andy Murray lost to Nadal yesterday it was "the Scott" who lost to him.
Same prolly happened when Coulthard, Irvine, etc. were in F1.
And the British media don't give a shit about moto so can't really comment on that.
* This could apply to Wales and Northern Ireland as well, but I'll go with Scotland since I'm Scottish and it makes more sense to me.
