Oh I love it when the true monster is allowed to take over. This is a dark story and the ending is a twist on many of the tropes that are usually played out in fanfic, which makes it more Dracula than most sexy vampire fic. The psychology behind it is nicely played though and the characterisation despite everything make so much sense. It’s well written. Even better it comes with evocative illustrations by the author.
For such a short piece it packs quite the punch.
