I didn’t know much about one direction. The last time I’d seen them it was watching Liam Payne singing Cry me a River at his audition so I’d missed alot. So as they go on hiatus here are two fantastic fics to get you through the next 18 months.

Or, the canon compliant Harry and Louis love story from the very beginning, where the only difference is that the love between them is literally written on their skin, and there’s only so much they can hide.
Review: A fantastic gateway fic. Despite including soulmates and making this world slightly AU the writer follows the rising of One Direction through X Factor religiously including links of their real lives to keep the story tied to the real timeline. It certainly saves you from trying to find all this out yourself and includes a depth of character (real or not) as the writer imagines all the cute adventures the boys have behind the scenes and some strong bonds between the band that you immediately become jealous of. I loved this fic and I probably would have given up trying this fandom for the first time without it.
