Review: In honour of James Bond being released yesterday, here is a superb fic. It places the shark version of James from Casino Royale in the present day. Everyone is afraid to be near him but Q takes him at his challenge. While he may not always win he keeps James on his toes.
While both dangerous in different ways on film, in this they are neither able to turn off the lethal edge. While strong on film in this they are truly vicious while maintaining their people like masks.
You truly feel they more than earn each other’s respect. Their only stumble is that they both can’t get past James’ reputation.
The fic is very clever and well written. Truly worth a read from James/Q fans.
