Review:
A rare find in the B7 fandom is a PGP fic that doesn’t ‘fix’ the ending. This one carries on with the crew that survived the fiasco on Gauda Prime. After being rescued they receive medical treatment and a chance to heal, not just physically but emotionally as well.
The series focuses mostly on Vila, which is also fairly rare for a PGP story. It’s a nice change to have a story in which Vila has a chance to be happy. However, Avon, Tarrant and Soolin also face their own pasts and inner demons to begin a healing process as well. By the end of the story Vila is happy and Avon, well maybe not happy, but in a much better frame of mind.
The series isn’t finished, there is one more part yet to be written, but the story does end satisfactorily, if a bit abruptly, with no cliff-hangers or glaring loose ends.
