My favorite re-read too! anonymous July 13 2007, 05:30:51 UTC
I've been obsessing over this story for weeks and re-reading it at least every few days. Is that sad or what? Something about it is just too good to let go. Very cool to see it caught you the same way too.

I have a weakness for Harlequin AUs in general and Marriage of Convenience fic are especially addictive. Somehow I think a few more of those might pop up over:)

While I love this story too much for words, my favorite by this author has to be Transcendental. My true lovein SGA is take charge Rodney!! But if Marriage of Convenience fics are your thing, have you tried A Beautiful Lifetime Event? While I'm never thrilled with kid fics, this one just hits all the right buttons. And it doesn't even have a male-pregnancy ... or you could argue they were both knocked-up. :-) Thanks for the wonderful recs. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed going through all of them.

I'm pretty sure I've read everything by astolat in all of the fandoms I read:) I liked Trancendental and A Beautiful Lifetime Event, but they aren't my favorite -- I think her talents are best suited for fluffy, slightly wacky stories (which is probably why I like her Smallville stories so much -- the DC universe is *awash* with potential wackiness).

That said, I'll probably be reccing both of the above stories once I work my way through the things I reread regularly -- there is only so much epic fanfic out there and most of it (at least anything worth reading) is probably going to end up on this community at some point or another:)

Thanks for the feedback!
