I love stories dealing with Spike post-Shanshu, and this is probably one of the best of them. Spike isn’t thrilled about his humanity, which really works well for his characterization.
The idea of Spike-the-human teaching Xander-the-vampire how to be a better vampire is ingenious. And Xander just going along with it is pretty priceless as well. All in all, this is a fun, fast read.
