Uncle Jack comes back and somehow manages to cause even *more* trouble than before. Also, Lassiter is surprisingly sweet, Henry is surprisingly supportive, Gus comes surprisingly close to having a spine, and Jack is not so surprisingly an ass.
There aren't many long Psych fics out there, much less long, layered Psych fics that feature the entire awesome cast. I love the Shawn/Lassiter romance, which isn't the center of the story, but which adds a bit of sweetness. I love Henry, who is driven nuts by his son, but who loves him anyway. I love Juliet and Chief Vick, who didn't get much screen time, but who were perfect in every scene they were in. I love Shawn's relationship with Jack, even if I do want to beat Jack on the head. Most of all, however, I love the banter between Shawn and Gus, which sounds just like an episode of the show, except with Gus being even more awesome than he usually is.
In short, a great caper for fans of Psych.
