If you’re wanting something heavy on plot, this is not the fic for you, but if you want a story focusing on character relationships and heavy on hurt/comfort (for BOTH Starsky and Hutch, even) then you can’t go wrong with Tandem. The story is set over the boys’ visit to wintertime Minnesota and even amidst the hurt part of the hurt/comfort and the family drama, the authors still manage to capture that comfortable vacation feeling. It’s slow, sweet, and gentle, and their coming together is natural and angst-free.
Perfect for anyone craving a dash of hurt/comfort and angst with an emphasis on the comfort and romantic fluff. Also as a bonus: there is a lovely pencil drawing of Hutch at the beginning of the story worth checking out itself.
