As folks who read my fic journal have probably guessed, life's been crazy for me lately. Not bad, just...crazy. It's making me a little hyper-critical (another reason why I'm having such a tough time finding fic to rec) and a little frustrated and right now I want nothing more than some good old-fashioned fluff. Something that is fun and

Dumbledore's Folly by DementorDelta is a Snape/Harry courtship/marriage of convenience fic, very fluffy and one of my gloomy-day standbys.

And two of my SGA fluff favorites are A Supermarket in California by Taffetablue , a McShep AU,

And you can never go wrong with McShep AUs! I loved A Supermarket in California and will no doubt be reccing it at some point (thanks for the link -- I think this is one of many, many SGA stories that isn't archived). Not sure about Lenore's fic. Is that the one where John's running a matchmaking service?
Thanks for the recs!

And yeah, I can understand the disillusionment with HP-- I had it with OotP, but Deathly Hallows is a much better book than I was expecting. As for Snarry, well, it's definitely not for everyone. I have a lot of problems with H/D though as I just think Draco's a whiny little bastard. Harry/Ron is the only pairing I can really see, canonically, besides Sirius/Remus.

the first fic of the battle was cute: Clear Blue Skys, classic fluff!
And Catch 19 was exelent! I loved that one, very in chractor and natural.
Up To And Including The Blue Moon Ball was pure fluffy fun.
But if you want a little angst mixed in with yer happy endings, don't count out Team Angst:
Rock, Paper (No Scissors) was very well done.
And the first Team Angst fic of the battle, Acidimia, definatly worth the read.
They're posting new ones every day, and looking them over to select some highlights, I noticed I missed a few, so definaty worth go'n 'n reading them all...which I'm gunna do now! Gotta get the ones I missed...not sure how that happend!

Really cute story fit for the young adult genre. With vampires and an assortment of monsters (the non-scary variety). Just a dash of teenage angst (well, it is a story about teens). And fluff.
