introduction post for epic_cathedral.

I was just looking at several people on my flist's journals and I noticed that they all had a separate intro post, and since I shamelessly steal ideas from other people haha, I figured I should do one as well.

Click the cut for more information about my journal and me.

First, a little about me.

My name is Chelsey. Call me Chels, Chel, CD, whatever, as long as you spell it correctly. I live in Louisiana. I can talk your ear off about sports, politics, and American Idol, so be prepared. I'm 23, an INTJ, liberal, agnostic, pro-gay, elitist, etc. Thick North Carolina accents are my favorite. David Cook is the single greatest person ever to live, and if you don't like him, I don't like you. I have the best time watching TV and movies with my sister and making fun of everything. I relate nearly everything back to either a Golden Girls or Seinfeld episode. I cry at anything touching or poignant. My shih tzu puppy, Tucker, is my life. Brett Favre is my hero and the person who has broken and repaired my heart more times than anyone. I'm fairly sure that if you cut me open, I would bleed Yankee blue pinstripes. I wish I saw the world the way Kris Allen does. I'm not as together as I appear.

As for friending information, I don't do friends cuts, first of all, so no need to worry about that. I don't care if other people do them; that's their prerogative. I also am not going to be upset if I'm cut. It's a part of LJ, and it's just not a big deal to me. I don't comment as much as I used to, but I do read most of my friends' entries. I may have never commented on any of your entries (probably because I didn't know what to say), but chances are I'm reading. That sounds kind of creepy, but I figure if I'm on someone's flist, I'm going to at least do my part. :)

I'm pretty much open to anyone adding me. Comment on why you're adding if you'd like, but it doesn't matter to me if you don't. As long as your profile appears to be legitimate, you're good. No spambots or trolls, please. :P

My journal is a mixture of real life and fandom, mostly my real life experiences with fandom. Not enough happens to me on a daily basis to call for that many updates, but I've resolved to update more than I used to, no matter how trivial the entry may be.

As for fandoms, I'm an obsessive American Idol fan. If that wasn't already obvious, you now know. ;) It's one of the only fandoms that I really consider myself a part of in the traditional sense. So, if you're an Idol fan, you're automatically cool in my book, assuming you don't hate my Idols, lol. Other fandoms I'm in are David Cook, the Yankees, the Patriots, James Franco, Kris Allen, So You Think You Can Dance, and Taylor Swift. Chances are you won't see any fandom updates about anything other than those.

My other sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. are linked underneath my info on my profile. Add me to any of them if you like.

I'm a moderator at ljsecret. I say this because I get asked fairly often about how to join the community. Only mods can be members, so just watch the community. You'll never miss anything as there are no member-only posts, so please don't ask. :)

I also have a graphics community, laconictheory. Icons, banners, and wallpapers of the above-named fandoms and others for icontests make up the majority of the posts there. Check it out if you're so inclined.

Well, there you have it. Hopefully this tells you everything you ever wanted to know about my journal and me. Though if it doesn't, feel free to ask if you want to know anything else.

american idol, livejournal, personality, friends, welcome, me
