The Catcher in the Rye
First off, Ashley's kitten Kurodo died the other day. I liked him. When I was over there Sunday night he just climbed up on my shoulder and went to sleep. He was kewl like that. He wasn't meowing or anything. Even though he had one of the most annoying meows I've ever heard I'll still miss him.
On to today, it just feels like one of those days were everything is either going to be an epic win or a truck load of fail. Maybe it's win. I asked my boss if I could turn in my notice the week that would mark me being here a year and still get my vacation pay. He said I could. So I'm happy about that. Means I can get out of Cullman that much sooner. I just have to try and get a job up near dad now.
This week I've been trying to put in a bunch of time on Mastercam. The more I know the easier it will be to get a job. The thing is that as soon as I get home my body just wants to sleep. After I talked to Ashley last night I tried to get in an hour or two on it but fell asleep at the computer. I woke up at 8 very annoyed. So i finished the chapter I was on then laid down. I guess being too comfortable while working late at night is a bad thing.
I feel really rested today though. Hopefully tonight I'll be able to get the chapter I didn't get too last night and the ones I had planned for tonight done. I didn't think the 3D programming would be so much more complicated than the 2D. Actually, I was just hoping it wouldn't be overly complicated. I can understand it... it's just a lot more to remember.
Also, my hair is perfect today. Seriously, after I got out of the shower it gave me no problem trying to straighten it. That was the first good thing to happen today. Plus my beard feels softer than normal.
