SCORE!!!!!
Rock on!!! I feel like I had a pretty good day if you can't tell.
I went out around 11:30 to get my hair cut and apply for some jobs. I got to the haircut place, successfully got my hair cut, and liked it. Maybe I'll do a before and after... Then I went across the street to FCS to pick up an application from there. While I was there I happened to see the Stellar Kart CD ON SALE FOR $10!!!!! (SUPER-MEGA-ULTRA SCORE!!!!!) Needless to say, it was a DEFINITE must buy. So I bought it. It is great! Seriously, you should go buy it. I mean it. Stop reading right now, get up, grab you keys and go buy the CD. J/K It really is a good CD though. Check them out on www.purevolume.com and at their website to hear some of their songs to see if you like their style, THEN go buy their CD. So after FCS I walked into Big 5 to look for a new pair of shoes and get an application. I didn't get either. They didn't have any shoes I liked (I'm kinda picky when it comes to shoes... ok, FINE, I'm QUITE picky when it comes to my shoes, but I only have ONE PAIR!) and they were all out of job applications. So I went back across the street to Wal-Mart to apply there. They have a little station inside the store where you apply, which is cool, but I didn't finish my app. because I need 2 references names and phone numbers before I can move on. So I plan on finishing that later, possibly tomorrow. Then I went over to Radio Shack to check and see what had happened with my application there. They lost my phone number. The manager of the store wasn't there and won't be back until Saturday, but I found out that they are actually LOOKING to hire someone (SCORE!!!) and the manager was HOPING I would come in to see what was going on. (ROCK ON) I hope I get hired there. If I don't get a call on Saturday I will definitely go back in on Sunday or Monday I think. After Radio Shack I went over to the other side of the parking lot to Save Mart and picked up an application from there. Then I came home.
After a while at home I had to go take younger (but not so little) bro to Wal-Mart to get some stuff he needed while I picked up Brad from work across the street. Then we dropped off younger bro at school for the play he's in and came home. After that I ate a bowl of [home-made] chicken soup while waiting for younger sister to be ready for youth. Then we went to youth, and everyone stared at my hair (or lack thereof). The general consensus seems to be that I look younger. (like third grade according to Brad, just younger in general according to most others though one claimed it lowered my maturity level) However, Lisa (youth pastor's wife) said right when she saw it that she hardly recognized me and I looked 4 years older. So not EVERYONE thinks I look like a little kid. As I said before, I think I'll do before and after pics.
Well that's about it for my day. It felt like a good, successful day to me.
