i still don't have my own laptop back from the shop, but here's what I want to discuss:
for those with US citizenship and above 18: PLEASE vote. I don't really care who you vote for, but the act is critical. Honestly, I never would have thought that I'd be this politically active...ever, but look, this whole 'lame, idiotic, pain in the ass' process is really something that millions and millions of people don't have. the fact that you have a say in picking the next leader of the free world is kind of a pretty big deal. plus, you have no complaining/bragging rights whatsoever for whatever happens in the next four years on the federal government level if you didn't vote. and personally, i want to have those. :P
