50 Things I'll Do Before I'm Pushing Daisies
1. Attend a “Burning Man” Festival in Black Rock City, Nevada.
2. Build something very functional by hand.
3. Tour the Galapagos Islands in Darwin’s footsteps.
4. Get published, at least once.
5. Climb to Machu Picchu in Peru.
6. Do a stint in the Peace Corps or another volunteer group abroad.
7. Work with Food Not Bombs.
8. Go to India.
9. Travel somewhere on a sailboat.
10. Go to Germany.
11. Go to France.
12. Go to and/or live in New York.
13. Go to Portland, Oregon.
14. Go to San Francisco, California.
15. Go Seattle, Washington.
16. Complete a soil collection from at least 20 interesting locations.
17. See the Redwoods / Sequoias in California.
18. Read at least 500 books in my lifetime.
19. Visit / volunteer for an African wildlife preserve.
20. Take a pottery class, the kind with a spinning wheel.
21. See at least part of the coral reef, up close via scuba.
22. See at least 100 plays, not televised, in my lifetime.
23. Hitchhike / Backpack for a minimum of 50 miles.
24. Go completely vegan.
25. Learn how to cook, artfully.
26. Get a large tattoo (minimum 6 inches).
27. Learn how to use a sewing machine, because I hate thimbles…and pinpricks.
28. Successfully grow my own pot, and we’re not talking terracotta either.
29. Start recycling habitually.
30. Take a road trip, which doesn’t involve anything with similar genetic makeup.

32. Sing several Beatles covers on a street corner, backed by an acoustic guitar.
33. Attend a "Dia de los Muertos" festival in Mexico.
