Always a Bridesmaid ....
Ok, so last night around 10 i'm driving home from kristy's after our tuesday night ritual and my phone rings, i thought it was kristy calling to tell me something i forgot or maybe even the name of a song from color me badd (we spent like 20 minutes trying to remember it - its i wanna sex you up) anyways, the phone was my friend Yves (pronounced Eve) she lives in florida now, i'll be visiting her while i'm down there, we used to work in the same district, she's a manager too. And we talk like once a week about work and crap (she calls when she's bored) so anyways she called and was like "so what are you doing in Spring 2007?" and i was like "Am i going to someone's wedding?" and she said "I was actually wondering if you wanted to be IN someone's wedding!" HELLO!!! RANDOM and yet exciting i was so excited for her!!! And a little jealous for me, i mean hey lets look on the bright side by 2007 i may be able to find a date to her wedding :) Thats sad. But yea so another wedding - another dress to buy, another reason to go the gym (it all goes back to the gym eventually - you think thatd make me go!)
So then i called candice to let her know Yves big news, and chat for a bit, which we did for almost an hour - i miss candice, we used to work together too, but we used to go out to eat after work and hang out at work, it was like peas in a pod, our work ethics clicked and so did our mental instabilities ;)
it sucks when you dont get to hang out with some friends on a regular basis.
Oh! Another thing i just wanted to update here, just get it off my chest and then move on ....
So, my one friend has what she calls a blog (you know, an LJ - my term is easier for me in my head so i will be using mine) and I have commented on her life, but i have never told her that i too have an LJ. I must be honest here, this isnt meant as a slight. I'm not trying to be rude by not telling her, I have never told anyone about my LJ except my brother. And i had my LJ for 2 months before i told him it existed, well before i commented on one of his journal entries and he found out it existed by linking me to his blog thru my name. I love my friends that know my LJ exists, but i never sent out a notice saying it exists. I dont do that type of thing. EVERYONE is welcome to read about my life, comment publicly on my life, etc. However i cant ever bring myself to invite others into the LJ or my life, they need to essentially invite themselves. I just wanted to clear it up. I dont hide that this LJ exists, but i dont say "hey read about my life" thats your business whether or not you think i'm interesting enough to read about.
