This week I got an invitation to a party from an aquaintance in the cycling community.  My day was free, and I had another event to go to in the area, so I decided to drop by. It's always risky going to a party of people you don't really know, but I've been to enough events that I was pretty sure I'd see some people I knew. Who am I kidding, I ( Read more... )

Hey Girl!

I have been equally remiss in replying to your posts, but rest assured that I am keeping track of you. :) Any progress with the band opportunity? Sadly, no one has asked me to join them on stage this week--well to to sing anyway. More on that if I get my homework done in time to post later.

School is good and yes, things are still pretty mellow. I can tell my Unix class is going to be the most challenging and I'm not sure if it's good or bad that it's my only online class. I guess it's nice that I can always refer to my book and take as much time as I need. The instructor seems pretty accessible so that's good. This is something glorious about going to school and watching movies! Color me jealous. :)

Hopefully we won't get too bogged down in studies to post the occasional update! I do love hearing what's going on. I'll be glad when Traci finally gets her own computer so she can rejoin us in the LJ world, if she's not too busy with the new bf..

Ok, back to this dense-ass textbook.

Thanks for the break.

And yes, clueless people suck, but thankfully, we can kick them to the curb.
