It's been so long I couldn't remember how to do an LJ cut at first!
I think I called it - Grandpa Skinner and the Campbells are going to eventually be the 'bad guys.' Something is seriously hinky with those guys. I'm sad that the hottest Campbell bit the dust, but I guess the rule is that nobody gets to be cuter than Dean...
Anyway - the opening scene really bugged me. *shudders* Talk about tapping into someone's fears.
Jensen is adorable with a baby - although you'd think he'd remember more from, you know, raising Sam. Sad they didn't quite touch on that. Although the boys with a baby is SUCH a fanfic trope, it looks like the writers are dipping into LJ again...
Sam definitely came back wrong. I think part of the problem is also we're stuck in Dean's POV, trying to figure out wtf is going on. And right now Dean doesn't quite trust Sam.
I liked Lisa with the gun - part of me really wanted to see hunter!Lisa. I'm glad she told him to go, that she wasn't portrayed as the simpering "stay with us" but I like her better when she's challenging Dean. I also wanted to grab her hair and pull it into a ponytail.
And you know what I noticed in that final scene with her and Dean? Jensen's eyebrows. He has such lovely eyebrows! Someone did a nice job manscaping.
Did they use two songs at the end? I thought I heard the opening notes to "back to life, back to reality" and then it segued into "Smoke on the Water." Do they pay less royalties that way?
