The Home stretch

Ok, so the bigbang fic is nearly done. Just have to add one more bit of beta-advice, and then proofread the thing. And then proofread it again.

For those of you not following me on twitter, I'm also working on the galleys for my story in the print anthology, Men in Space (which I always hear in my head like "Pigs in Space!"), and edits on the cyberpunk novel. Meanwhile, I managed to avoid having to show up for jury duty today, and cross your fingers that my number is high enough that it gets me through the week without being called.

Not that I mind serving our great justice system *coughs* but this month is just too darn busy for me to deal with being the member of a jury on a trial! Did I ever tell you the story about my dad? He'd only been an American citizen for about a month or so when he got called up to be a member of a jury on a murder case. (He'd only been in the country for you know, thirty years before finally getting that whole citizenship thing squared away...)

The fact that I'm rambling means too much caffeine...I have stuff to do here at work and dinner guests tonight. And I promised myself - no reading bigbangs until June is over! Hold me, guys, don't know if I'll be able to make it!
