Dear Mr. Kripke, if you are reading my livejournal, please ignore all stories marked "Sex Corps." However, I AM looking forward to the pregnant Impala episode.
Thanks,
Epee
Spoilers
Ok, the first opening scene I thought was going to be a dream sequence - the Winchesters walking into a comic book shop? And then the guy mentions "Larping" and I went "Oh My God, they have read MY fanfic." Ok, most likely not, I mean Jared and Jensen, Larping as Sam and Dean, any geek could come up with that right? I doubt Kripke is actually reading RPS, right? RIGHT?
(Ok, I'm kinda scared, I'm not a BNF or anything, the most likely thing they'd find is the carpreg, since that's on the Superwiki and everything, but wow.)
Anyway, this episode made me feel kinda weird, especially when Sam and Dean starting talking about slash fic. (I guess it's how the guys feel when we slash them?) Like, I started to feel rather uncomfortable, it almost hit my embarrassement squick.
Although I really want high res screen caps of when they were looking at the fangirl posts. Any odds on who "Simpatico" is? Maybe a clue to Kripke's identity on livejournal?
"As in Sam slash Dean. Together."
"Don't they know we're brothers?"
"They don't care."
I kinda loved Dean's "I'm full frontal in these books." Even though Sam was the Fabio on the cover. Wait, that makes Dean the chick. Hee.
Poor Chuck, he has been reading too many romance novels, what with the "firey demonic passion."
BTW, did anyone notice Castiel reading the supernatural book? I want the Castiel reading fanfic fic now. Man, that would be meta meta meta. So meta it's making my brain hurt. (Misha who wants to read fanfic, playing Castiel reading fic about fic being written about him and Dean...)
I liked some vindication of my theory that Sam is rationalizing the demon blood because he's "doing it for Dean" - trying to give back to a Dean who's protected Sam his whole life. Despite the meta comment about it making Sam look unsympathetic. I do think at this point that Sam is addicted to the demon blood, and probably wouldn't be able to stop if he didn't want to. Finally though we get some insight into his point of view.
"I am the prophet Chuck!" I wonder if the name was a shout out to "Chuck":)
Cas was fucking awesome in the episode. "Dean, I can't help you because you know, if the prophet is in danger, an archangel shows up. And, you know that's why I can't help you." And then he looks around to see if he's gonna get smited! He was so adorable! Misha looked like he was having fun too.
I am still stunned that they mentioned slash on TV. I'm literally wondering if I dreamt that whole sequence. Like, whoah. Trippy. I am in the Matrix.
And now I'm tempted to write fic with me in it, that I will share with no one, since I have learned my lesson about Mary Sues, but still...
"The librarian sits at the Reference desk, quietly typing away at her computer, when two strong strapping young men enter the library. The shorter of the two, with sparkling green eyes, asks her where the bathroom is. She points. He goes, leaving her with the taller one, whose long locks flow into his hazel eyes. He wants to know where the microfilm collection is. She gives him a lesson in databases. The end."
Oh, as per the conversation I'm having with
lapillus now I can't wait for the fic where they pick up one of Chuck's later books, only to find wincest in it...although she's telling me I can't write it till I'm done with Sex Corps...*pouts.*
And if they "shot down" wincest in this episode? They spent plenty of time building up some Castiel/Dean...heee.
Ok, forgive the lack of coherence, I have to go back to torturing Misha in this scene I'm writing. Must channel some evilness...
