I haven't read much in this fandom in the past, but am starting to watch the episodes and reading more of the fics. I couldn't resist the summary of your AU. It sounded so fantasic, plus I love scifi. This beginning didn't disappoint. I love all the backstory, Jensen's reasons for doing this, the back and forth between the explanation and the session. It's wonderful, powerful, sad, and beautiful. I'm really looking forward to reading more.
An amazing first chapter to an amazing verse that I shall be recommending to friends.
The contrast between Jensen's later training with his social relationships with Jared and his friends is fascinating and so easy to picture with your wonderful writing.
The fact that you have used names of real people felt odd and uncomfortable when I started reading, but the personalities are so different to how we see them on TV that I was quickly able to put my discomforts behind me and relax into the story.
Saw your request for a beta, and whilst I'd love to be able to help, I truly do not know your universe anything like well enough yet to be of use but I'd certainly enjoy the thrill of getting to read your stories before everyone else!
I tend to think of the real actors I'm using as just cast in the roles of these characters. I'm sorry it made you uncomfortable at first.
Right now I'm all set with betas, but I will certainly keep you in mind for the future:) Trust me, the stories are better once they're polished up a bit!

Hey there, just finished Jensen's Journey. (your second link is not working, but I downloaded the full html file, just an FYI)
What an excellent read. I love science fiction, and now here it's paired with the characters from Supernatural. I loved the universe you created, really looking forward to reading about Jensen's first mission. I think it would be good to get an idea of the desperation or status of the war. At school it's all a bit muffled (other than the death of their parents). I love the acknowledgement of their sexual natures. Will be interesting to move on to Jared's journey and see where that goes.
I always read these as the characters from the show even if they are named Jared and Jensen. I just don't know who those real people are so I stick with what I know - Sam and Dean. Love how they are not really related in this one. Kind of a nice relief and so easy in AU.
Really love the fic/universe one story in. Are you still writing in this 'verse? Seems like there could be tons to explore.
