Novels of summer - reviews

Jul 05, 2007 17:22

I posted some reviews of the novels I just finished (as part of one of my 2 summer jobs, I get to read, so I wanted to share the joy with you lovely people.) I love how Vox interacts with media, heck, I think thats the only thing I like about it. So my reviews are there:

Kushiel's Justice - Enjoyed it. If you haven't read the previous novels in the series, don't start with this one. And for my sake, DON'T look at the Library of Congress classification data on the front page opposite the title, OR read the summary on Amazon or your library's catalog. Otherwise you'll be spoiled.

The Outback Stars - Loved this. Great characters, interesting take on space.

The Last Templar - DaVinci Code wannabee. It's a great beach read if you like the genre.
