So, as some of you know, I'm building a
plastic model of a 1967 Chevy Impala. This model is very intricate, with pieces as small as my pinkie fingernail. It's also very accurate, to the point that when we saw a 1968 Impala at the car show yesterday (oh man, it was a beautiful car, shiny black, 2 door, it all but gleamed) I recognized the engine parts from my model.
The parts are on plastic grids. I skimmed the grids today, looking for a particular piece. That's when I saw something that had me scratching my head. I immediately showed it to my husband, because I wanted a second opinion.
Me: What does this look like to you?
Him: *squints* A laptop.
Me: Why would a 1967 Chevy Impala need a laptop?
The answer of course, is that it's Sam Winchester's laptop for research...
but how the hell did it get in my model kit? ;)
EDIT:
PROOF! because
seanchaidh said to me "are you SURE it's a laptop?" The pic is grainy because the plastic piece is so tiny, but you can make out the touch pad and the keyboard.
EDIT part 2: And right next to the tiny laptop? A teeny tiny Playstation 2 with controller. WTF???
