I posted this on my fanfic journal. It's been two years since the zine "Off the Record" was published, so I think it's ok to post this now.
I originally wrote this story in 2004, and I think I've changed a lot as a person and a writer since then. I left the fic mostly intact, though I removed some ellipses. WTF was up with me and ellipses? They were everywhere!
