Temporary leftie

This hasn't been a fun week. Took last monday off to do some work around the house; including re-arranging the drainage for one of the backyard downspouts. Stood on a lawn chair to reach a fitting. Should have used a ladder. Fell, landed poorly, broke right wrist. Spend rest of day at Steven's Hospital emergency room, where they tried to straighten things out and put a splint on it, but they could not get it all back in place. Had surgery this morning at a clinic in Everett. Got a nice titanium plate and a few screws put in. Expect to be in a splint for ~two weeks, then a cast. Meantime, I'm typing with my left hand. Hopefully will get some use out of right soon (it's currently numbed from surgery).

So, I join the ranks of the cyborged :-)
