Join the minions
Finally back from Tcon. Had a lot of fun. /tcon28/
The three of us (myself, dpawtows, and ypawtows) did a group costume this year. Minions. Minions. Wore the outfits for most of move-in on Friday, and quite a bit of Saturday. Turned out to be a reasonably practical con costume- work clothes, work gloves, and eye protection!
Want to try the same outfit at NWC, although probably not during main move-in. Probably Friday (would it be appropriate at the lifer's dinner?) or Saturday.
At the last social a few other people were talking about doing minions. We need to co-ordinate so we can all do them at the same time at least once, and get photos taken with Gru- er, smarier. (Shawn- think you could find a reasonable approximation of the scarf/sweater/coat?)
And we need to find better goggles. This time we used simple safety glasses, but true goggles might work better.
