Pawtowskis east, 2010 edition
For those back east, here are our travel plans for the REAL holiday:
Thursday the 23rd, we fly to Louisville KY to spend Xmas with our aunt. This will be the third time we've attempted to fly into Louisville. We have yet to make it, primarily due to weather issues. At least, they don't seem to be calling for Seattle-area blizzards next week.
I don't think we know anyone in KY. Our aunt will be renting a leg caddy for dpawtows.
Wed, the 29th, we'll get a rental car and drive to Roanoke, to see Yvonne's parents. Typically, we stop halfway there and have dinner with rattrap; am hoping the same arrangement will work this year.
Will be in VA from the evening of the 29rd, and flying back to Seattle on Mon Jan 3. We're not planning on taking any overnight trips with the Bennetts this year; probably just day trips to local museums and other sights in the area. Possibly including Monticello and the Tank museum in Danville. Anyone interested in joining us? We don't have any ideas for which day yet.
As usual, the Bennetts don't do anything much for New Year's. So, if anyone in Bburg is hosting a VTSFFC gathering, let us know.
We are assuming there will be at least one gathering at jdunson's place for a City of Heroes game. Will be bringing laptops. Laptops that can actually *play* the game, this time.
