Computer problems
Well, now the computer is on the blink. Got back from work on Friday, decided to blow off some steam playing City of Heros with Yvonne. About an hour in, the computer locked up. And looks like it was pretty badly damaged- worked on it well into the wee hours and couldn't get it to boot in anything but "safe mode".
At work again most of today. Yvonne reported finally getting someplace- she got it into safe mode, disabled the graphics card drivers, and it seems to boot normally; just with a terrible-looking screen. Downloading and installing newer drivers (Invidia 8800) caused a BSOD, so she took the drivers down again.
Anyone have any suggestions?
