Cruisin' towards a post
As ypawtows posted a little while ago, she and I took a week cruise to Alaska. Left July 16, got back on the 23rd. Had a nice time. See her LJ for a day-by-day description of what went on.
I took plenty of pictures. I may try to upload a few of them, if any of them seem interesting enough.
On the whole, it was pretty enjoyable. Was with a crows of other NWSFSians; there were 27 of us total (which made us just over 1% of the passengers on the ship). First time on the open ocean, and, other than a brief trip down the Sound on a Destroyer, first time on a true oceangoing vessel.
Presumably, we'll do it again sometime.
