- Naia-A is 8-months (and some) old! She's growing so big now . . . it is such a bittersweet experience because I want to see her grow and develop but I also like having her as my baby girl. She's started strained foods and we're monitoring her closely to see if she has any allergies. We made the decision not to give her anything sweet until she's tried all the standard vegetables so she's only starting sweet potatoes today. One of her daycare teachers Beth is elated because she been dying to give Naia-A sweet potatoes. Beth is a doll with Naia-A, it will be a pity to lose the current teachers when Naia-A moves up to the toddler room.
- She's not crawling or rolling over! They say not to worry and to enjoy the fact that she is not mobile. I have a complacent baby?? *j/k*
- Made $700 in commissions through The Body Shop program last month! Recruited my first recruit yesterday! One more qualified recruit and I will be promoted to Senior Consultant. Must reach this goal!
- Went to NYC Sep 9 - 12 with Naia-A in tow. Also went with Mike and Maria Bouck - Noah's colleague. Maria is one of those super-knowledgeable women and I was completely clueless about most of the things she talked about. I am going to start reading more about American and World History!
- Did too little shopping because I was distracted by Naia-A and because the group wanted to do sightseeing more than shopping
- Making another trip to NYC Oct 14 - 17 for a networking meeting through WITNEO (one day only) and staying for the weekend with Noah and Naia-A
- Collected 144 phones in support of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV). People really came through for this cause and I am touched by their support.
- Work is a bear. I am sinking, sinking, sinking in projects, deadlines, assignments. It's demoralizing to say the least.
- End of year plans: To spend 2 weeks in Singapore and to visit the Sharmas (Vic, Gee, and baby Rohan) in Perth for a couple of days
- Invited the Challens for Thanksgiving at our place. Paul will be deep-frying the turkey again, and Bianca's going to help me prepare my first proper Thanksgiving dinner.
- Need to get on my business plan! Delphi, I must call you at an appropriate time!
- Fall is coming, want to get this sweater I saw at Ann Taylor Loft but I hardly pay full price for clothes . . . :o( Coveting is SUCH a sin!
