I really kind of hate St. Patrick's Day. People go about loudly greeting each other with "Top of the morning to you" in terrible fake Irish accents, agents of public service (i.e. guest services, bus drivers, the guy who rings you up at the supermarket) wear obnoxiously enormous hats and shamrock pins, and if you don't wear green you are called out at least seven times an hour.

Sue me. I don't need to wear green on Paddy's Day to prove I'm Irish. Pretty sure my face does that all on its own, all year long.
