I just rang up my mom to ask herMe: How do you plan a baby shower?
Mom: Why, are you having a baby?
Me: Why would I be planning my own baby shower?
Note my first response to the question of having a baby. Not, "Why would I be having a baby right now?" or "No way am I having a baby" or "What? Me? Seriously?"
Nope. My logic is that I would not be planning a shower for myself if I were the one having a baby.
