homecoming is supposed to be fun. today is then a failure, at least so far. theta brunch was good this morning but i'm sad that sara got sick and couldn't come visit. i then made it up to the wesley tailgate where we played ultimate corn-hole, which means throwing pumpkin little-debbies off the roof trying to make it into the cornhole board. it was awesome. but made me really tired (getting a cold), so i came home and slept for 3 hours. hoped to find the jmu football game on TV, but no. i did find the psu one tho! so i worked on homework and now am going to grab dinner and go to the homecoming step show. by myself. i have an extra ticket, and it would make my day if matt showed up to go with me, but i know he won't because his old roomies are here for the weekend. everyone i asked couldn't go, so i'm going to be brave and bring a book and go by myself.
and one of the townhouses down the street caught on fire today. i woke up to find 4 firetrucks outside my window on the street, couldn't see what was burning, went out to the breezeway and saw smoke coming off the roof. didn't see flames so that's good, but it sucks for the people that live there.
