Future Plans at JMU

LOVE LOVE LOVE the new plans!!! all of them. especially connecting Grace St up to Bluestone Dr between Warren Hall and Mr. Chips, it would make sooo much sense and make it so much easier to get around campus. I never lived in the village, so I don't mind the changes and honestly I think it makes more sense because you'll get more rooms for the same amount of area, plus an access road to ISAT from where the baseball stadium is now, plus a new parking deck. I really like the expansion of Carrier Library and the combination of Grafton, Warren and Taylor to form one new huge Campus Union. I think it's a good thing putting administration and support offices in the hospital to allow the quad to be solely academics. I think we need a bigger football stadium because our team has done so well, and also because if we are growing this much as a university, then we need our sports to reflect our size.
The only concern that I have is with the athletics spread out all over campus, how will this affect Sports Medicine? Will we be so spread out over campus with BB/SB out by memorial, BKST up at the new convo and will everything else be out on Port Republic? I hope we stay in Godwin.
