Ficlet written for lhunuial, who ased for a dark and moody Elladan. I came up with this angsty piece. Hope you will like it Gon-sib!

Title: Eye of the Storm
Rating: R
Pairing: Elladan/human OC

The storm was ragging outside. Rain poured against the windows of the inn. Dark clouds seemed to gather over the roof, never to let the sun pierce ever again. It suited perfectly the mood of the tall and lean figure that was looking out the window of his room. Dark and moody. Sad and almost desperate.

Elladan huffed impatiently. He knew she would come. Here in this dark little inn, they found an escape from their lives, their races, their cultures. It was like a hole in time where nothing mattered except them and what they felt for each other.

His elven senses picked up the sound of light feet in the hallway and he rushed to the door. He wanted, needed to crush his lovely woman into his arms tonight. To make her whimper and scream for him and to hold her seated body against his afterwards. He needed so madly to forget, to erase the image of his sister’s dying form from his spirit. His heart was weeping and aching from the loss but his body was yearning for a woman he claimed every night.

The door was slowly opened and he lost himself in the hurricane of his feelings.

***

Branwen almost lost her balance when she felt the strong arms of her lover close around her and his hard body crush her against the wall. Something was wrong. He was usually so tender and patient, making love to her for hours, slowly and teasingly. Here, all she could feel was a frantic need.

She responded eagerly to his ministrations, her whole body on fire. Suddenly, amongst the heated kisses, she felt them. Tears. Salty and wet against her shoulder. Elladan buried his face in her neck and she held him, humming softy in his pointy ear. And at that precise moment, she knew she loved him deeply, no matter what he said about it.

She held him for a long time, his warm breath tickling her ears. Outside, the rain was still pouring, the sky black, as if nature tried to personify grief. She was in the eye of the storm. And she had never been happier.
