Best Day Ever!!
So yesterday I woke up and got ready to go over to my brothers house to clean for a little before heading over to the St. Clements Horse Show. But, my sister-in-law, Laura, was riding a bit earlier than they thought so I did get much done. I got the the horse show around 12 and didn't leave the barns until 7:30. It was crazy!! But tons of fun. Laura rode in 6 classes yesterday, 4 of which were jumping and the other two were flat track. Basically flat track is just going around the ring and they tell you to trot, or walk, or canter. It's kinda silly but it's to see how well you handle the horse. She placed in 4 of the 6 classes, winning 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th. She did really well for this being her first St. Clements show. The horse, Reggie, is awesome!! He is just so sweet and pretty. I got to help with him which was cool. I would hold his reigns for her or hold his leash when she brought him back to the barn.
The sucky part was the barn was SOOO far away. If you've ever seen the Saratoga flat track, the barns were all the way down one side of the track and the rings where she was competing were across the street from the track. A very long walk to do several times a day. But it was really cool to spend time with Ben and Laura and get to meet my nephew Reggie. :) Plus Ben and Laura let me off the hook for the rest of the house cleaning because we got home so late and still had to eat. They appreciated my help at the show becasue it was such a long day. I would def. do it again, it was tons of fun. But lots of work.
My grades were due in Thursday but I forgot about them until yesterday. So when I got home I was nervous because if I failed Strategy I wouldn't be able to graduate. I was so shocked when I got my grades. My grades were:
Ethics: B
Strategy: B+
Business Law II: A-
German: A
I was so psyched!!! MY GPA for the semester was 3.521 which means I made the Deans List. This is my second time. I am so happy!!!! It just totally made my day.
Plus, the awesome seats we have for American Idol. Thank God for Marci and pre-sales! This concert is gonna rock!
So it was just an awesome day yesterday. Sadly I had to go to work today but I found out when I got there that I don't have work tomorrow. Yay! The rest of work sucked, but it is to be expected from retail.
So much for Alex coming back. One homerun and that's it. Stupid Yanks. And yet I still love them. ;)
