oh mah gawd, i just found a really old letter that i wrote and never sent (thank god) to a guy i had a crush on in the 10th grade. WOW, i was lame back then. i mean, WOW. i'm so glad i never sent this letter. my handwrtiing looked exactly the same then as it does now, which is oddly comforting. his name was Aaron Ganz and he lived half a block away ( Read more... )

awww, sadly i did not know you in the 10th grade :( would that have been awesome or WHAT? we could have been little troublemakers in high school together. it could have been, you, me and the one other non-white/asian kid at my school in Utah. good times. that place was a joke. good thing i was only there for 6 months and my crush didn't have time to grow into an obsession. it's bad enough we played gutter children outside his house goodLORD. i'm going to go hide now.

*hugs* Because I have no idea how the schooling system works over there - how old is 10th grade? I'm going to go with "aw...how cute!" :) And how awesome that you're now watching BSG as well, I love that show! So much goodness there.

And... because you are awesome and the NZ post system is really weird sometimes, I got the DVDs and popcorn yesterday. Best. Wife. Ever. I'm saving the popcorn for when I marathon the DVDs this weekend - expect a bucket load of icons when I finish them. Sounds like Michegan was awesome - though any place that has a festival for a fruit gets my vote! And my States geography sucks but damn, it looks pretty. And yeah, I hate walking in sand dunes - they make my calves hurt and distance is freaking impossible to gauge and I just end up giving up and sliding down the things. And the last time I did that it was on black sand and I burnt my feet - *sigh* memories. And yay for sibling/family shots - but where are the photos of you? Ha ( ... )

hmmm i was...16 in 10th grade :)

and Michigan is up at the top near the border with Canada - it's where all the Great Lakes between the two counties are. they also have a film festival that Michael Moore runs that my step-mother and younger step-brother are working this week, quite randomly. they seem to have a lot of festivals there. there were a bunch of other caramel corns there, but most of them were hiddeous - they had one that was all cherry with caramel and it was like eating cherry-flavored Frosted Sugar Bombs, Calvin-style, if you know what i mean...i think i got you the best one ( ... )
