While really sad, I found the story...almost calming, in a way. It had a slower pace than a lot of fanfic I've read lately, which made me enjoy it much more. I also liked the overall language. It was descriptive without being over the top (as opposed to having no description, which I've dealt with on my main site lately). This is a good story for a rainy day, that is, if it rained in Minnesota during March.

Such a beautiful piece. I'm finishing up writing a M/P fic right now, and I see some themes that we both touched on, but done in such different ways. It's always telling when the mood an author sets up in a story lingers with me after I've finished, which is the case here. I'm always humbled by your beautiful prose, too. Guh, just lovely work all around. :)

This is quite beautiful. You've done such a captivating job with how haunting grief can be. And in this case with Peter there are all these bits and pieces he's stringing together...it actually feels like a fit with grief in general. One doesn't always see things as a whole but rather in these disjointed elemental bits that strike at something deep within ( ... )
