...but when I do, it can be pretty gratifying.
I just got a message from one of my YouTube peeps about the comic, and it was pretty flattering, I must say.
Great moons of Neptune....
.... I love it. I finished reading what has been posted and LOVE it! Your character development is spot on and it kept me interested not only in the characters but also interested in how much of the author's personal attributes have been applied to some of them, especially Kanira. I thought her having a stuffed animal to sleep with was a really neat touch! I also liked all the cool references to stuff from your life and things you are interested in such as Dawkins and Vermont. Way cool!!!
I can't wait for more! What is in the Wanderer??? Is it people? Did they evolve into a subspecies? What????????? The suspense is killing me!!!!! No fair!!!
All my life, I've felt like people just aren't into what I'm into; I rarely meet someone who digs Star wars the way I do, I rarely meet anyone who understands and agrees with my preferring light to dark when it comes to the demeanor of a movie, or having a similar understanding of my taste in music, why I prefer heroes to villains, etc, etc.
So to have someone say that they totally dig something I've created, something that is built out of all those preferences and interests, well...the words "overjoyed vindication" come to mind.
I'm just sayin'. "Makes it all worth it," is perhaps a bit strong, but the flavor is right. :)
