It's pathetic, but I'm proud...
Hit a daily record with the webcomic yesterday: 67 hits. Nothing like my YouTube vids, which can get hundreds--even a thousand--hits in a single day, but...it's better than the fifteen-to-thirty I was getting on the comic a week or a month ago, neh?
Well, I'm pleased, anyway. In fact, for the last week or so, readership has been trending upward; I hope that continues.
Working on a new page right now; finished one already today. Tryin'a get caught back up after slacking while I was sick.
Even if I do say so myself, the last few pages have looked really good. They're the first time Kanira and her crew have been EVA, and they just look...like I'd always intended. Like, I'm getting my imagination out of my head and onto the page looking like what I pictured, more or less. Kanira Baxter has always been at least a little bit (but, you know, actually a lot *whistles innocently*) about wish fulfillment; if I could live in a future of my own design, it would be like this comic. And it's coming out the way I'd intended, matching my imagination. Truly.
Anyway...I'm on the page for January 26th; I should be on or past Febbernary 9th's page today. Obviously, I have some catching up to do. But since the comic is four days a week, if I do a page a day, I'm ahead of the game...and today I've done a page-and-a-half so far, probably two by the time I quit for the night.
Not sure I'm hitting the Merc; I overdid it last night, and I might wanna do a YouTube vid when I'm done with the comic. We'll see.
