Today was pretty good.
Got WAY involved in working on Kanira Baxter, such that I almost didn't make it to martial arts today. I glance at the clock and see that it's three minutes past when I'm supposed to leave and I haven't even started getting ready yet! So I grab my dobak and some water and book it out the door; made it in time.
Did all right in class. I like Wednesday classes; they're smaller, so you get more personalized instruction.
Came home, showered, went to Goffee. It was just me an' lathe26, though schmi showed up for about two minutes. D'know whereinhell everyone was, but it was still fun.
Got more work done while I was watching Olbermann and Maddow and catching up on YouTube vids; didn't even finish a whole page today, but that's because I had some SERIOUSLY complicated 3D modeling to do. There'z a set of rooms that have to simply be covered in these vine/coral-like tendrils, and those take time to build; what I've got looks good so far, but it's held production up a smidge. I suppose I could have put in a few pages of filler rather than advancing the story just so I could get to page 30 and submit this stuff for approval/hosting, but I think the storytelling is more important and this is the right time for this part of the plot. So...yeah...
Still, it's looking pretty good; I'm excelling myself, above and beyond anything I've done before.
And the weather continues to kick ass; today was a good day.
But it's bed time now; more in the morning! :)
