Dream Lover
Okay, it's sappy as shit, but I've loved this song since the first time I heard it:
The band--Rebel Pebbles--is really, um...not that good. I have this CD and, honestly, this is about the only good song on it. But damn if "Dream Lover" didn't grab me by the back of the neck, haul me up close, eye-to-eye and forehead-to-forehead, and growl, "You fuggin' like this song! Cope."
I had a really odd experience with this song back in high school. I woke up from a dream in which this song actually played in my head. I looked up at my clock radio to see whatinhell time it was...when suddenly it snapped on and was playing "Dream Lover" by Rebel Pebbles. Spooky as shit, that.
Wish I'd noticed yesterday that someone had posted this song; I'd have Valentine'd it for my Wubb·E. ;)
