The interesting word usements I structure
It occurs to me that, with my Weird Thoughts posts, I haven't been posting the list of Words I Think Are Funny™.
Well, whyinhell not? There've been a few additions since I last posted the list back in frickin' January; it seems about time.

In addition, it occurred to me that I've been missing out on a golden opportunity to post the corollary list of Words I Really Fucking Hate™. Actually, I'm quite surprised that this hasn't occurred to me before now; I've been posting Weird Thoughts and Funny Words for how many years now? This seems like it ought to have been a natural progression long ago; maybe I'm not quite as negative-minded as I thought.
Anyway, since I've only just thought of it and these things usually only jump out at me when they come up naturally, there's only one glorious member of the list so far:

I don't know why, but I really fucking hate that word. There's just something about it, the word 'butt' followed by a glottal stop and then this pansy little 'n' sound...and it's almost worse when someone deliberately pronounces the 't' sound fully; sounds pretentious as hell. There's just no way to say that word that doesn't make me want to retch.
...and I hate what that word defines, too; along with gigantic collars, paisley (when not worn ironically), and sock suspenders, buttons are one of the uuuuuuuuugliest clothing inventions humans have ever come up with. EVER. If you absolutely must wear clothing which fastens somehow, there'z zippers, laces, snaps, buckles, and fuckin' Velcro™ f'dat, thankyouverymuchindeed. Just sayin'.
Anyway, I may add more to the list later--probably will--but I'm still surprised it took me this long to think of it. 'Course, I'm also surprised that there'z only 48 members of the Funny Words list, too. Heh. Just sayin'.
