The Aesir Gods
I know I've been bad. I shoulda written up something about the hike. And uploaded the last of the pictures. But I have been busy--and sick--so I only wrote up the beginning and uploaded the first load of pictures. No one cares for the entire story behind the hike anyway, so I'm gonna skip that, out of laziness. ^_^
Freja, played by Johanna, aesir goddess of fruitfulness and love and such.
Thor (not a monk I say!), played by Staffan, is the strongest of all the aesir gods. His hammer Mjölner always meets its target and then returns to Thor's hand. He makes the thunder and protects Asgard from the giants.
Balder, played by Andreas, wrapped in a, um, not-bed-sheet. Balder is son of Frigg and Odin, and is a mild, loving god.
Idun, played by Inger, is daughter to Odin, and she guards the eleven golden apples that the aesir eat of to stay ever-young.
Saga and Heimdall, played by Monica and Micke. Saga is a very minor character that Johanna (Monica's elder sister, incidentally) found quickly when Monica decided pretty much the last day that she could be there and play a role as well. She is probably a varioation of Frigg, who is the wife and drinking companion of Odin. Heimdall is a guard, and he is the best--he can see the end of the world both day and night, his eyes are so keen, and he can hear the grass on the ground and the wool on the sheep grow.
Here is Odin(Mats) having just captured Loki(Göthis) who stole Thor's hammer Mjölner. Freja is in there too. Odin is the wisest of the aesir gods, having given one of his eyes to drink out of the well of wisdom or whatever you'd call it in english, and he sees all that happens in the world, and his ravens, Hugin and Munin, tell him things. Loki is a half-giant, methinks, and is prone to play pranks on the aesir, despite them letting him live among them. He is evil personified. He is father of Hel, and the wolf and the snake, whatever yoy call them in english. ^_^
Siv, played by yours sincerely, here flown up in a tree. She is Thor's wife. She has pretty hair and has two children. ^_^ And doesn't do anything of great importance in Asgard, but still.
Here are the rest of the pictures. Some of them have descriptions, some don't, and I'll prolly add more eventually. Descriptions, that is, not photos, this would be all of them. ^_^;;
